Yesterday  when Ajay Maken tried to get a bill passed on the sports ministry trying to have a better control of the sports association and failed miserably .  Off and on we have seen the worms spill out where the political class ( not all of it – but some who have ill intentions ) had tried to build a pseudo empire what that matters to the world and build around a system where these cash cows feed them till eternity.

BCCI trying to wriggle its way out of accountability despite taking all grands and exclusions from the government. A body run completely by the political class of india. From politicians in power and outside power. All state run associations have the clout strongly over them. All major colleges have political stake in them.  We also have witnessed recently how the political class has acted out of the way to make way for interests where they can ensure their 2 cents.

Hope  someday we have an end to our minimal miseries of  good water , clean air , cheap food and good transport that we the common man of india can look up and see what is being done to issues which fall above our affordability of time and effort. This also makes me think that may be things are let to be the way they are for so that the common man never gets out of the vicious circle of basics and looks above.
